1. Eligibility
- The competition is open to both professional and amateur riders.
- Participants must have significant experience in off-road or hard enduro racing.
- Only Filipino citizens are allowed to compete. International riders are not permitted.
- Riders must be mentally and physically fit to participate.
- The track is not suitable for beginners.
2. Motorcycle Requirements
- Participants must use off-road/enduro motorcycles that meet the event’s technical and safety standards.
- Dirt Bikes: Must have a displacement between 125cc and 450cc (specific categories may vary).
- Adventure Category: Participants must use road-legal adventure bikes between 400cc and 1300cc. Dual-sport bikes are not allowed.
- Riders must ensure their bikes are in excellent condition, as technical inspections will be conducted before the event.
3. Safety Gear
- Full safety gear is required, including a certified helmet, gloves, boots, and appropriate riding attire.
- Riders must wear a chest protector and knee braces or knee guards.
4. Designated Pre-Race Zones
Rider Assembly Area
- A designated Rider Assembly Area will be established near the starting point.
- Riders must report here at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start.
- This area will have facilities for last-minute checks (tire pressure, chain tension, fuel levels).
Mechanical Work Zone
- Minor repairs and adjustments are permitted in this zone.
- Only the rider and one registered mechanic are allowed to work on the bike here.
Quiet Zone
- A Quiet Zone will be established to minimize noise distractions before the race.
- Engines must remain off in this area, except for authorized start checks by race officials.
Warm-Up Zone
- Riders may warm up their bikes in a designated Warm-Up Zone before the race.
- Speed limit: 10 km/h to ensure safety.
Penalties for Non-Compliance
- Minor infractions: Warning or time penalties.
- Severe or repeated violations: Disqualification.
5. Pre-Race Inspection
All motorcycles must pass a scrutineering inspection before competing.
Inspection Checklist
- Engine & Fuel System: Must be in good working condition, with no leaks. Fuel tanks must be properly secured.
- Brakes: Both front and rear brakes must be fully functional, with sufficient brake pads and no leaks.
- Suspension: No leaks; fork seals must be intact.
- Tires & Wheels: No restrictions on tire selection. Wheels must be true (not bent or warped).
- Frame & Body: No structural damage. All bodywork must be secure with no sharp edges.
- Exhaust System: Must be securely fastened and comply with event noise regulations.
- Throttle & Controls: Throttle must return to closed position smoothly. Clutch and brake levers must be safe, with no sharp edges.
- Chain & Sprockets: Properly tensioned, lubricated, and free from excessive wear.
- Lighting (if required): Headlight and rear light must be functional if the race occurs in low visibility conditions.
- Safety Gear: Riders must wear a certified helmet, boots, gloves, goggles, knee guards, and chest protectors.
Additional Rules:
- Bikes that pass scrutineering cannot be used before the race.
- Bikes that fail scrutineering must be repaired and re-inspected before being cleared to race.
6. Race Rules
- Riders must follow official start times and stay on the designated course.
- Unsportsmanlike behavior (e.g., interfering with other riders) may result in disqualification.
- Riders must notify race officials if they are unable to finish.
- No shortcuts or bypassing obstacles—violators will face penalties.
Disqualification & Penalties
- Grounds for disqualification:
- Failing to follow course rules.
- Receiving outside assistance outside designated zones.
- Dangerous riding or unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Time penalties may apply for failing to complete obstacles or cutting the course.
7. Medical & Emergency Protocols
- Medical staff will be stationed at key points along the racecourse.
- Riders must follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or injuries.
8. Environmental & Local Regulations
- Riders must respect the environment and comply with local land-use laws.
- Damaging natural landscapes or violating wildlife conservation rules is strictly prohibited.
9. Awards & Recognition
- Trophies, medals, and cash prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
- Winners will be recognized across different rider classifications (professional, amateur, etc.).
Race Mechanics
- Registration Deadline: Riders must register on or before April 11, 2025. No onsite registration.
- Companion Policy: Each registered rider is allowed one (1) guest. Additional guests must pay an entrance fee of ₱500.
- Race Area Access: Only bikes with official entry numbers are allowed inside. Bikes must be pushed (not ridden) inside event grounds and parked in the staging area.
- Track Walk: No track read is allowed. Riders may only walk the course on event day.
- Prologue & Grid Positioning:
- A prologue run will determine starting order.
- Fastest 20 riders will start in the first two grids.
- Remaining positions will be assigned via draw lots.
- Race Start:
- Mass start format.
- Top 20 prologue qualifiers take the first two grids.
- Course Violations: Cutting the racecourse to gain an advantage will result in disqualification.
- Winner Determination: Based on fastest overall lap time. Riders will have an RFID tracking system backed by GPS.
- Spectator Assistance:
- Spectators cannot assist riders.
- Only marshals and designated spotters can help in critical sections.
- Bike Repairs: Must be performed outside the race area or in the designated work zone.
- Protests:
- Must be filed within 30 minutes after the race ends.
- Protest fee: ₱5,000.
- Protests affecting podium placements (1st–5th place) will be settled before the awards ceremony.
- Other protests will be reviewed before final race results are posted.
- Laps per Category:
- Ladies Category: 2 laps
- ADV Bikes: 5 laps
- Local Enduro: 3 laps
- Gold Class: 5 laps
- Staging Area: Riders must be in the staging area before their race starts.
- Cleanliness & Order: Riders must maintain order and cleanliness at the venue.
