RFS – Ride for Solidarity began with a clear and deeply human mission:
To connect adventurers and athletes with each other, provide a platform for their advocacies, and create meaningful opportunities for every member of the community.
Born from crisis but built for purpose, RFS traces its roots to the aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette, which devastated the Dinagat Islands. In response, a small group of dedicated volunteers took action. They mobilized friends, families, and fellow adventurers to deliver not just aid but solidarity, presence, and hope.
These early missions—where riders and athletes helped rebuild homes, brought relief, and stood beside devastated communities—planted the seeds of something deeper: a belief that adventure and purpose are not separate paths but one road.
Many of RFS’s core members also lived through and helped communities rise from the devastation of the two strongest typhoons to strike the Philippines in recent history: Yolanda and Odette. These experiences forged not only resilience but a powerful vision:
Every place devastated by disaster, whether natural or man-made, has the power to rise again. Not just to rebuild but to transform into a symbol of strength, solidarity, and purpose.
What if these places—often remembered only for tragedy—could be reimagined as thriving hubs of adventure, healing, and opportunity? What if their roads, waves, mountains, and trails became platforms where passion is fueled and purpose is driven? What if athletes, creators, volunteers, and dreamers came together through shared movement and meaning?
This is how RFS was born. Not just as a response to crisis, but as a movement to reshape the future.
RFS connects adventurers, athletes, and advocates into a vibrant, purpose-driven community. We provide:
We believe in adventure that builds. Not just trails, ramps, and waves, but futures, friendships, and lasting change.
RFS works at the intersection of adventure sports and community empowerment. We help turn recovering and overlooked landscapes into living testaments of strength, unity, and growth.
Through initiatives in enduro racing, surfing, mountain biking, skateboarding, and community service, RFS creates platforms for connection, celebration, and impact.
We are not just an organization. We are a movement.
What began as a ride of solidarity has become a powerful force for change that redefines what it means to be an athlete, a builder, and a leader in a new kind of world.
